I noticed that the Seahawks handed out a #37 jersey to their 7th round safety pick. I for one never thought they would give that number out again. I always assumed it was going to be retired. Do you think #37 should be retired by the Seahawks?

If they ever have another player in the same league as 80, they'll undoubtedly retire that number too.

Who wore number 37? I forget. If Steve Hutchison, Walter Jones, Robbie Toebeck wore it then YES.
Those linemen made a good back look great by opening enough holes so that back could score 28 touchdowns.

Even the number 80 came out of retirement for a short time. So I really can't see them retiring #37.
